BodyHype is proud to be raising funds for Trenton Area Soup Kitchen!

The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) feeds the hungry and offers programs and services to encourage self-sufficiency and improve quality of life for people in the Greater Trenton Area. They deliver over 10,000 meals each week, six days per week, at their main Escher Street building and more than 40 community meal sites across the area.

Last semester we raised over 2.5k for Housing Initiative of Princeton(HIP); Help us reach our goal of 2K this semester!

Please venmo . We will also have a cash donation box as well as a live auction at each show.

Dance has historically been a source of empowerment in the face of oppression, and as a company centered around the education and uplifting of dance as a form of knowledge and creativity, we stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and those fighting for their liberation.

BodyHype is proud to be raising funds for Housing Initiatives of Princeton!   Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP), is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability to build a sustainable future through stable housing, better employment and finances, and a network of support services. HIP provides transitional housing, general rental assistance, and security deposit assistance to low-income working families and individuals facing homelessness. HIP’s programs help these individuals and families achieve more economic security, life stability, and permanent homes of their own.   Last semester, we raised over $3.6K for Princeton Mutual Aid; help us reach our goal of $3K this semester! Venmo , or we will also have a cash donation box as well as a live auction at each show!

For our spring show Vitale, Bodyhype proudly raised funds for the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF).

Started in Princeton and now based out of Trenton, the LALDEF's mission is to remedy "the root causes of immigrant marginalization" by facilitating access to health care, education and legal representation. They primarily work in providing bilingual services in retaining the legal status for immigrants, providing specific assistance for the youth, and helping to integrate the immigrant community into the Trenton area.

With your generous contributions, Bodyhype was able to donate $3298 to LALDEF, surpassing our goal of $3K. Thank you so much to everyone who supported the fundraiser and this local cause!

Our auditions look a little different this year. BH’s Spring 23 process allows dancers to experience how the company learns. We hope the two-part process will also provide a more equitable and low-stress environment for auditionees.
