Over the last few weeks, we have taken our available funding to purchase as many materials that are readily available to overcome the continued increase in costs.

For clarification, every month, the purchase of lighting, HVAC, electrical, tile, and more go up in price due to changes in tariffs and escalating cost of doing business. As we can, we do installations to move the process forward. Originally budgeted funds have been depleted quicker due to the rising costs of these materials and labor.

While frustration tends to get the best of us sometimes, we are pushing forward with our efforts when funds are available.

PRINCETON — Local author Dreama Denver has released her newest children's book.

Well, it may not look like much to some, this represents another $20,000 investment into the process. Skylights and labor for the stage upstairs as well as door frames don’t come cheap.

Now that the sprinkling system is complete, we are anticipating connection to the waterline outside as well as additional piping for our HVAC units. They have been on order since January.

Hey FB friends! As we look to decorate the inside of the theater in the months to come, we are looking for vintage and antique mirrors to add to our unique decor! Don’t ever forget where we came from. Here are photos from May 2016. At this time, we were uncovering the masked problems behind the walls. The inside was collapsing. The windows and bricks were falling. The marquee was tearing off the front of the building. We spend over three years in voluntary labor taking out what took over 100 years to decay. It was a gut wrenching, sweat pouring, blood dripping process. But it was, and will continue to be, worth it.

Not everyone gets excited about drywall on the ceiling, but we are not everyone. Happy to get this prepped and ready for the next phase of work.

Over the last few months, there have been many changes at the theater! It’s been a crazy transformation and we are excited to see the progress. From film production to picking carpet and tiles, we have been busy on a daily basis! We will be sharing several vision boards in the coming days. If anyone would like a tour, please post in the comments below and we will randomly select names early next week!

We are so grateful for an amazing event yesterday! Despite a couple patches of rain, we had an awesome crowd with the best energy!

Special thanks to Gilligan Yacht Rock, Delnora, Dreama Denver, Engine 9 Brewing, Mercer Street Grassroots District, and our wonderful community for making the evening a resounding success.

We cannot wait to keep the fun going when the theater doors officially open. Keep an eye out for updates and have a great summer! ☀️
