I don't live in the City of Princeton, so I am not endorsing candidates. I do live in Princeton ISD and am running for school board. I respectfully ask you to vote for me, Dana Pendland Jones for Princeton ISD School Board as well as Carlos Cuellar Princeton Schoolboard Trustee and Bianca Washington 4 PISD School Board .

It's a tough time of year for me to take off and be able to meet and greet at the poll. Bianca and Carlos will be out there a lot more than me, stop by, say hello, ask them the questions you want to ask. Their hearts are in the right place for PISD!!!

Good morning from this gratitude filled heart. Thank you. Thank you for all the acknowledgments, comments, texts, messages, and such at my announcement of filing to run for Princeton ISD School Board. I am overwhelmed with the kindnesses of all of you.

I attended their August meeting last night. I made the correct decision.

It's time for me to jump back in and take a shot at helping out. Our district has some pretty unique challenges with the unprecedented growth we are experiencing. I love a lot of what Princeton was and has been. But we are growing and changing and becoming more diversified than we've ever been. Tackling those challenges head on and with a mind open to all possibilities is all we can do.

I'm hoping for a classy contest. Meeting most of the candidates last night, I'm highly optimistic. I won't be slinging mud or hurling insults. I'll do what's right in this contest, just like I will if / when elected. I can't control others - I can only control me. Thanks again for walking this journey with me.

My aunt Missing Person Nancy Jean Medina Nancy Jean Medina disappeared August 3, 1984 - 40 years ago today. We strongly suspect foul play.

I went back and looked at posts I've done on this date, and my emotions are all over the place - sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes vengeful, sometimes hopeful and so many more. This year - it's all the emotions. Not surprising.

Catherine England Bailey, Amy Goins, Rozzell Medina and your families and friends - I know today is always a tough one. I love you with all my heart and will never give up as long as I breathe. Carolyn Rozzell Pendland - I know it is a hard day for you as well, you love your sister so much.

So this year's post, I only ask this. I ask that you take a second and be grateful you have your loved ones around you. I ask that you take a second and be grateful that you can account for those who have passed. I ask that if you have someone similar with no closure that you know my heart is with you and always will be.
