Stained glass panels in the sides of a door at my sister's house on Shelter Island. These are the same pattern as the panels that I made for the last place where my parents lived. When they passed away, I gave them to a neighbor of theirs whose doorway was the same. So these at my sister's house always remind me of my parents.

Susan Friedman Schott inspired my tree of life stained glass when she created a beautiful tree of life quilt to present to the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, in memory of the people who were killed in a heinous act of anti-semitism. Susan agreed to trade me a quilt for a stained glass piece, and yesterday I presented it to her. She sent me this picture of the piece at sunrise this morning on Shelter Island.
