When Women Who Rock first took the stage in 2019, one performance left the crowd absolutely speechless.

Elana Lisa brought Janis Joplin back to life.

With all the grit, soul, passion, and raw emotion that made Janis a legend, Elana delivered a performance that became one of the defining moments of the very first Women Who Rock at Harbor Blast Concert Series.

For more than two decades, Elana has been captivating audiences throughout Virginia as a singer, songwriter, and performer with projects including Weeping Molly, True Tonic, Elana Lisa & The Hot Mess, and more.

We're thrilled to welcome another Women Who Rock original back to the Harborblast stage.

✨ Women Who Rock Spotlight: Barbie Firooz ✨

Some people don’t just join a show, they help create its heartbeat.

When Women Who Rock first came to life at Harborblast in 2019, Barbie Firooz was one of the very first to say yes. She didn’t just perform, she helped shape the vision.

Barbie was the creator, band leader, and lead singer of Crystal Visions, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac that was originally created for this special event.

She is an incredible performer, singer, friend, and all-around beautiful human, and we are so honored to have her back with us for this year’s Women Who Rock.
