Primghar Community Playhouse Entertaining audiences since 1980, the Primghar Community Playhouse is a family and community based theater located out of Primghar, Iowa. Thanks!

Thank you for visiting our page! The Primghar Community Playhouse was started in 1981, and has been entertaining local audiences since. We have two scheduled performances per year: the Fall production is the Children's Play, and the Spring production is the Adult Play. Board members for 2025 are as follows:

Why not get a team together and play!? Have some fun during Cobblestone Days, on Friday June 5th.

Team of 6 (2 of which need to be women) for only $30! Registration is at 5 pm. Game play starts at 6 pm.

The Primghar Cobblestone Days Volleyball Tournament is coming to Primghar City Park on Friday, June 5th — and we’re ready for an awesome night of competition, laughs, and summer fun! ☀️

While you can register any time now we will be having a Special Kick Off Day on Tuesday June 2nd with a Pop Corn Bar ~ it's our favorite "Seed" - We have a program for all ages - Check Out Your Library Today - Also any Libby book counts as well.
