Just doing an update/check in. It's been a busy August, both personally & professionally. Changing names took more time than I thought it would & getting everything to show off the new name & look has been fun. Waiting for it all to come in was just like Christmas! The last of the 7B Farms stamped pottery is in the kiln waiting for bisque fire. With the humidity it takes longer for air drying. 25lbs of clay have been wedged and shaped into balls, ready for the wheel. New Studio 39 stamp is here, ready & waiting for the creations to be molded into shape. Our next big event will be in September at the Scarecrow Festival. Hope to see you there!

Too excited to wait until tomorrow! I've been waiting on the state to approve my request to change my business name. I got the email today that it's been approved and my new license has been mailed. I can go online tomorrow & print it out to get the ball rolling on all of my accounts. My new stamp to mark pottery will be here within 2 weeks. So all pottery with the 7B stamp will end after this next kiln cycle. With the new name (Studio 39), we will have new products (sometimes to include more than just pottery) along with a whole new look starting at August 13th Farmers Market in Preston! Stay tuned for an "Out with the Old, In with the New" give-away!!!

Unfortunately we won’t be at the Preston Farmers Market tomorrow due to a scheduling conflict, but here’s a few things that we’ll have next week. The Farmers Market is every Thursday 4-7pm at the Preston Community Park. Bring the family and enjoy the summer concert series also happening almost every Thursday 6:30-8Pm.

This year has been a groundbreaking journey of immense growth and remarkable progress, and I am utterly delighted to be on the verge of a significant milestone in my studio's evolution. As incredible opportunities keep emerging, the challenging decisions we've made along the way have laid the foundation for even brighter futures. With 16 exciting events on the horizon, this year is set to be a defining chapter in both my professional and personal journey. Be sure to mark your calendars for our autumn events: Scarecrow Festival 9-26-2026; PPVM PTO 11-14-2026; PCCC Christmas Bazaar 11-14-2026; GHS PTO 11-21-2026. Although we can't be everywhere at once, I'll keep you informed of the dates of other events as they're announced so you can join in the excitement. Furthermore, I'm ecstatic to announce that we'll be participating in our new local weekly Farmers Market every Thursday from July through September, 4-7pm, connecting with and contributing to our vibrant community right here in Preston.
