The reviews are in, and we are overwhelmed by the response to Little Bright Eyes ✨
Audiences have called it “beautiful & thought-provoking,” “such a moving show,” "stunning," and “the sweetest play ever.” We’ve watched people laugh, cry, and leave the theatre talking about this story, and we’re so grateful for every person who has experienced it with us.
At the heart of Little Bright Eyes is a remarkable piece of Arizona history. In 1929, a young Clyde Tombaugh arrived at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff and joined the search for the mysterious “Planet X.” After months spent photographing the night sky and painstakingly comparing images, he discovered Pluto right here in Northern Arizona at Lowell Observatory.
Little Bright Eyes takes that real history and opens it into something bigger: a story of discovery, love, grief, loneliness, and the connections that reach across time and space. It’s one of those shows that has to be experienced. You’ll leave feeling more connected not only to the remarkable history that unfolded beneath our own Arizona skies, but to the people we love, the ones we’ve lost, and the invisible threads that bind us across time and distance.
If you haven’t seen it yet, this weekend is your last chance.
