HAPPY NATIONAL TAP DANCE DAY MAY 25, 2026!

A special happy birthday to Bill "Bojangles" Robinson!!!!

I am surrounded by gratitudes today as I reminisce on tap dance in my life. It is an honor to have the privilege to teach. All of my students are phenomenal and FUN! They aren't afraid to take risks and play.

That is the value of dance. Be big, be loud, play and most importantly ENJOY EACH OTHER! Let the sounds of your sole rhythm and creativity empower you to dance EVERYWHERE!

Biggest Tap Tip: TRUST THE WEIGHT!

This exercise is for neurological, brain training. We want our brain to trust where our weight is taking us. Drilling is the best way to strengthen not only our muscles, but our brains as well. Put this in every day life too if you need extra connection for brain/body balancing!

We are here to combine forces to support our club kids and parents for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona!!!

Fun fact: I used to be a club kid at different clubs when I was a weee little squeeble. Clubs keep our kids safe and supports the silliness and adventure of being a kid.

Sometimes you have to scoopid a kitty and dance with them ❤️ I often like to give verbal instruction to the weight and weight changes. I find it helps the brain trust weighted steps vs weightless!
