🏁🛞 BIG NEWS FROM 989 RACEWAY! 🛞🏁

​The countdown is ON for the 1st Annual Independence Day Festival, and you better believe 989 RACEWAY is rolling out in full force! Not only are we celebrating freedom, but we’re also ringing in America’s 250th anniversary! 🇺🇸✨

​Mark your calendars for Friday, July 3rd at Newman’s Park! We are officially participating in the Grand Parade and hosting the 989 Raceway Toy Show (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM)—and WE WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR CREW! Here is how you can roll with us:

​🛞 All Are Welcome: Whether you’ve got a machine, a custom rig, or just want to walk with the crew—everyone is encouraged to join the line!

​📍 Where to Meet: The Grand Parade starts at 11:00 AM on Greenwood.

​📝 No Registration Needed: Don't worry about the paperwork. We are already registered as a group, so you can just show up and roll out with the 989 Raceway family!

​🤝 WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! 🤝
Community is what drives us. 989 Raceway is volunteering to help keep the festival running smoothly all day, including handling the clean-up crew duties afterward. We want to show our town some major love, and we are looking for more boots on the ground to help us out!

​Getting the track race-ready! 🏁

​We’ve got the ole 1965 Cub Cadet out in the woods today, putting in the work to make sure everything is perfect for Ron’s Ron's celebration of life ride on June 6th. There’s nothing like vintage iron to get the job done right.

​A huge shoutout and thank you to The Local Guys llc for donating the use of their equipment to help us prep. On top of that, they’ve stepped up in a big way and agreed to spray the entire property for bugs at cost. They are guaranteeing us a bug-free event, so we can focus on the ride and honoring Ron without the pests.

The 989 family isn't going anywhere! 🏁🇺🇸

​For anyone who never got to see what 989RACEWAY was all about before the neighbors got the county to shut us down—check out this recap. This video shows exactly what we're about: families, mud, and just having a good time. 🚜💨

​It’s important to remember: we aren't a business. We’re a not-for-profit association. We’ve never done this for the money; we’ve always done it for the community and for the love of the sport.

​The track location might have to change, but we aren’t quitting. We’re still gonna do what we do, just from different spots. And we’re still 100% committed to giving back to the area we call home. We’ve already signed up and are ready to get to work volunteering for:

​🧹 Community clean-ups
​🎉 Holiday events
​🎈 Local parades

"It’s hard to find the right words when someone as special as Ron is no longer with us. He touched so many lives, and right now, his family needs our support more than ever.
