Top tier team roping professional Derrick Begay is everything but an amateur - and he’s a loyal friend! Derrick Begay and Colter Todd have both made the 2026 NFR field. The regular season just closed, and the current qualifier lists have:

* Derrick Begay — No. 10 Header, approximately $134,548 in season earnings.
* Colter Todd — No. 15 Heeler, approximately $122,587 — grabbing that final NFR qualifying position.

Todd’s finish was especially dramatic. Going into the final stretch he was outside the Top 15, and Begay passed up the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls to stay on the road and rope with Todd as Todd fought for an NFR berth.

What a fantastic day on the golf course this past weekend! 🤠⛳️ The World’s Oldest Rodeo® would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the Cowboy Golf Classic at Antelope Hills Golf Courses!

We’re especially grateful to Karen Fann for her leadership in helping make this year’s tournament such a success. It was a great day filled with golf, camaraderie, plenty of laughs and support for the Prescott Frontier Days® Rodeo Royalty Program. 👑🐴
