After a career in education, featured artist Juana McDonald found her way into art through curiosity, experimentation, and a lifelong love of learning. Today, she creates stunning enamel pieces shaped by her early explorations in ceramics and jewelry-making, deeply inspired by the colors, textures, and quiet details of the natural world. 🌿✨

Meet Wendy Runnells, a versatile artist whose creative journey spans painting, drawing, and intricate metalsmithing! 🎨🔨

Wendy’s artistic path began at age eleven with drawing and painting. In the 1990s, her love for beads and rocks evolved into a passion for jewelry fabrication—especially fold-forming copper sheet, which got her completely hooked on making jewelry art! 💎✨

🎨 Her Creative Journey & Style:

Metalsmithing & Jewelry: Mostly self-taught (with guidance from awesome instructors along the way), blending design with hands-on fabrication.

Mixed-Media Art: Recently reestablishing her roots in painting and drawing as a member of the Mountain Artists Guild, incorporating metal and stone directly into her paintings.

Artistic Philosophy: Approaching every piece as an exciting adventure in continuous learning and self-expression.

Whether crafting unique metal and gemstone jewelry or mixed-media paintings, Wendy brings endless passion and creativity to every piece! 🌟
