Friday nights recap! 🎉🎱
We had slow start on Friday at Tony's Too Bar and Grill , but got there! 😁🥳
We had 12 players in the field and decided to do double elimination format, race to 3 on A and 2 on B side, 200pt gives a game on A side...Poor Dana Moore (FR 550+] (not) 🤣 we made him work for it Friday, I'm certain he'd say! 😉
We had 2 newbie players in the tournament, Ms Johnny N Terri Clements , who, I believe was Terri's 1st Tournament, ya did fantastic, GF! 😁 Just sorry you had to draw John in round 2. :/ ;)
And welcome Paul Wilson to the pool family at Tony's! 🥰🎱
The real dominator of the evening was quiet and reserved Mr. Scott Stevens , who glid across the A side waits patiently (in alot of pain :( ) in the victory seat!
He waited there for Dana who fighting his way across the B side, usually giving a game, and I'm sure remembering Scott is the same opponent who put him there!
In the end, they agreed to play one race to 2.
After 2 racks and a hill/hill score, Dana sunk the 10 Ball for the victory and a healthy payout of $100, 2nd was Scott Stevens, $45.
3rd, at $25 and finally in the money newcomer, John Clements! 👏
And the one who started us all off by pocketing the 10 ball on the first break of the first rack of the night, was Mr. Steve Morn , which earned him 100% of the $85 rolling snap pot as he was able to remain the only one of the night! 😵🥳🤑🎱👏
Last Lady Standing was Andrea Moore, whom I believe, if didn't win, went hill on all her matches. 🤛
It ended up being a great group of people Friday night, good energy, fun and ready to play pool! Thank you to all who came out to play or stopped by to say hello and appreciate everyone's patience waiting on players to arrive. I know we got started later than anticipated but in then end, we were wrapped up just after 12!
Next up, Weekly Wednesday Open 8-Ball Tournament at 2pm at Tony's! Bnr pot starts at $22.50!
