VA!! ALERT!!!!

Debby is knocking at our door. She has ramped up, filled in. Not a good thing 😱Central to West of the State, huge flooding risk🥶. Sadly a big tornado Threat into the night, especially central, eastern VA 😡 please take this seriously. Be weather aware today. Alert your friends, neighbors, to have alerts on and to prepare accordingly. Last time we had something like this was 2018 with the tornado outbreak in VA. Take this seriously! Of course I hope this doesn't happen but conditions are ripe. Prepare now than later.

Va! Our # 2 storm comes in late tonight to Tues-Wed. Main concern 2-4+inches of rain, winds in excess of 50mph, sever storms.

Hi Va!!! Starting in the late hrs of the night through the am; unfortunately we have ice coming for us. Winter advisory is up for mostly counties west of i95. Map is on the bottom. There will be a hard cut off, and where that will be is unknown; we are in now casting. This will start in sw va and creep up and inward. The closer to the mountain do expect freezing rain, possible snow.driving will be potentially hazardous in all shaded areas on the map. This will change over to an all rain event as of now, after 12pm.

The top yellow and orange map is for the following system coming in on Monday night to Wed. This will be a much stronger system and unfortunately for VA it will be another massive rain event. Potential for flooding is high, storms are not out of the question, some areas ice, and wind is the ultimate concern. Map clearly shows that concern. The further east to the coast the higher the winds will go. Some may see 70mph or higher. Expect power outages and prepare now.

More systems are lined up behind these 2 and snow lovers can only hope one of them will bring us the bountiful snow we've been dreaming of, but for now it's ice, rain, wind. Tonight and Saturday could have some snow fall from Charlottesville westward along the mountains. After the 10th a huge polar artic plunge will start pouring into the US coating the country in negative degrees and teens.

Be safe VA in the early hrs of this am. Stay weather alert ⚠️ I don't care what car or truck you have; ice will always win!!!
