We are located five miles West of Midlothian's Westchester Commons in Powh Most importantly they call Central Virginia their home.

At Premiere Dance Studio we value our ability to give top-notch dance training in a nurturing, family environment. With highly competent instructors we train the casual dancer looking for fun and exercise – the pre-professional looking to make it their career – and everything in between. With two studios, we offer manageable class sizes which allow each dancer to receive the optimum amount of one

on one instruction which is important for the personal growth of each dancer. We are a neighborhood studio, but our teachers are highly trained from diverse backgrounds of dance, both artistically and geographically. Our goal is to cultivate your child in the fine art of dance while building core confidences which will enable them to succeed both on stage and in everyday life. We are dedicated to providing a safe atmosphere where your child can explore without fear. A dance studio is only as strong as its teacher and we are very happy to have some of the finest teachers in the area. Our instructors have taught and trained all across the country: New York, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Miami.

Sydni graduated from Matoaca High School and will be attending Florida State University in the fall to major in Dance.

Dance and PDS have helped shape me into the person I am today by teaching me confidence, discipline, creativity, and the importance of teamwork. Sydni’s love of dance and understanding of movement has been notable from a young age. She strives for quality in her technique and is dedicated in and out of the studio. Sydni graduated early and has been taking college courses while focusing on furthering her dance training. She values her time with family, friends and dance family. Sydni’s passion while performing is undeniable. We know your work ethic and love for this art will take you far! We are so proud of you, we love you Sydni! 💕

Senior Spotlight ✨ Ella O’Donnell

Ella graduated from Midlothian High School and will be attending North Carolina State University and plans to major in Business Administration in hopes to become a real estate agent.

“I started dancing as early as 3 years old because Serrah Brod was my next door neighbor. Premiere Dance Studio became my home. I was dancing six days a week and always striving to learn and grow. Dance has meant so much to me and I will forever be grateful for the memories and lessons it has taught me along the way. Dance has helped me grow not only as a dancer, but also by teaching me confidence, discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. PDS has been such an important part of my life, and I’ll always be thankful for everything it has given me. Even though im moving into a new chapter, the studio, the girls, and especially the Brod family will always have a special place in my heart.”

The goal at Premiere is to create well rounded dancers and people. At PDS we want to see you grow in dance, education and mindset! Not every dancer will dance professionally after high school but the ones who want to can and the ones who don’t, have life long skills that will serve them in any field.
