Well, sorry for not posting in a little bit, but as you can see, we still have a little bit of flooding. But this is good, because I walked, more like waded though the field today. The main area that we have been working, yea, it's Venice. But we do have a lot of high ground on the back end of the field, big thing is figuring out a way to get to it, for those that don't like to get your boots wet. But for those guys that like the water, man, going into the middle of the swamp now, that would be a ton of fun to play, and it's deep enough, that some small flat bottom boat, canoe, kayak, or sampan would work back there. And the other piece of high ground that we do have permission to use, the swamp goes right up to it, so you would have to assault it though the swamp, either wading or by boat. But the good news about this other high ground, we can access with out going though the water. So learning some stuff, got to figure a couple of things out, but the water can be a lot of fun, if it's warm enough out, half way across the swamp, I couldn't feel my toes. But hopefully the water level will come done soon, it's not normally this high, but when it does, I really think it can be a blast.

Alright guys, we are still on for tomorrow. We will be looking to start around 10:00 AM, that is for posting the time so late on Friday and this also gives time for the rain to move off. Not sure on the turn out, but if you are coming out, and have a pistol or a shotgun, bring them. Since I'm not sure on the numbers that we will have, we might be playing around with some pistol shotgun scenarios. But no matter what, it will be good to be back out again, sharing some plastic.

Sounds like we got some people gearing up for this Saturday, that is great. Not sure on the weather, maybe a little rain but we are still five days out and that can change. But no matter what, we will be out there.

OK guys, we still have a ton of work to do on the field, but we feel like we are finally at the point to start up game play. We are looking at the first Saturday in February. Even if it's just a couple of people, we have enough on the field and I got some ideas for some fun games, even with just a couple of people. We have started off slow before, but I know our player base is still out there, and then some. So contact me or Leonard over on OBX Airsoft for more details, and say tune here also.

Already, for those guys that say they want to come out and help with the field, it's going to be a great day on Saturday and we will be out there working, so come on by. I think if we get a good weekend of work done on the field, we should be able to start playing next weekend. There will still be tons to do with the field, but the basics will be set up, and we can start playing and get a feel for the field.

I didn't get out to the field this weekend, but Leonard got some trees knocked down. Looking to get some more work done this weekend, couple extra hands, and I think we could have a playable field by the end of the weekend. Let us know if you are interested.

Got some more field work done today. Mainly working on cutting out the access road/trail on the North tape line. Got it a lot more open and cleared out. For guys getting some new gear for Christmas, come on out next Saturday and give it a test run. Will put up more details for Saturday, but will try and put something together, at least do more work. Once we can get this access road cut out, we can then start moving supplies around the field to start building.

Work is coming along on the field. Will try and be out there again this weekend. Keeping an eye on the rain for Saturday, but going to try and get out at least a little both Saturday and Sunday. The more help, the quicker we can get the basics craved out and start playing. If interested, let us know. And break some gear also, we always have to test out what we are building.
