Ink 865 Tattoos Woman-owned private tattoo & permanent makeup shop in Powell/Knoxville TN. Every style welcome 🖤 Hi, I'm Carrie! I have always loved art and creating things.

I'm a registered nurse who wanted to use my skills more creatively. I have spent my whole life making things. I am a seamstress, furniture builder, painter, remodeler, and the list goes on. At some point I became really fascinated with the whole microblading process and how amazing it was to completely change someone's look. As I have been learning the whole tattoo process I have become very intrigued by all of it! Eyebrows, lip color, eyeliner, hair line/bald spot fill in, scar camouflage, the list is endless of what can be done. My newest obsession is tattoos. I am now doing fine line tattoos, regular tattoos with shading, etc. From tiny to huge. Men and Women. Black grayscale and color. I’m truly enjoying it so much! I will continue to work and grow. Thanks for all the support you have shown this far.

A little good vs. evil moment. 😇😈🖤

Angel wing on one side, dark wing on the other, working right into what he already had. I LOVE getting to add pieces that make an existing tattoo feel like it was always meant to become something bigger. 🔥

And honestly… I can’t decide which side I like more. 😂

There’s something so special about taking your kiddo’s little drawing and turning it into something you get to keep forever. 🥰

The original artwork vs. the tattoo… Braxton nailed it. 😂❤️

What is you doinnnnn’…. 😂😂

More client shenanigans at INK 865… except this one just so happens to also be my social media fairy. 🧚‍♀️📱 So naturally, absolutely nothing about this appointment was going to be normal. 😂

A little dancing, a little chaos, a little tattooing… somehow we DO eventually get work done around here. 💅🏼🖤

This woman has been through A LOT with me building this back piece… and somehow she is STILL this chill. 😂🌸🦋

Meanwhile I’m tattooing away and she’s over here with a heart rate of 59 like she might as well just take a nap. 😭😂

At this point I’m convinced I could tattoo her through an earthquake and she’d be like, “Wake me up when you’re done.” 💀

Slowly but surely, we’re filling this back with ALL the flowers and butterflies. 🖤

Florals that look like they were always meant to be there. 🌸🖤

I LOVE getting to work with existing tattoos and create something new that flows with them instead of fighting against them. We wrapped these florals right around her shoulder and tied everything together so beautifully. 🥹✨

Give me all the flowers. Seriously. 😂🌸
