Before work this morning, I finished this carving. A strong eagle standing on the Bible verse Isaiah 40:31. This carving was made for the Powell Christian School Fundraiser, which is being held this Thursday on March 26th.
This is my fourth year of teaching at Powell Christian School. I absolutely love teaching at this school. Our school offers a high learning for students, while being rooted in Christ. If you would like to know more about our program, you can visit https://www.powellchristianschool.com/ and learn more about PCS.

When an addition was built on this house, this pine tree stood very close to the house. If strong winds blew, the tree would bump against the addition. The new owners of the house were afraid that someday this 80+ foot tall tree damaged their beautiful home.
After the tree was cut down, we were able to find a handsome bear inside the stump. He will be stained to match house soon.
This bear was full of personality and makes you smile when you see his face. I finished when it was getting dark and couldn’t fully capture his charm, His owners were happy with the outcome of this carving.

This elm tree became a bouquet of flowers. The owner wanted something different. I love how it turned out.

It has been a while since I posted any carvings. Our kids are all teenagers now. I am still busy being mom and teaching at Powell Christian School. I squeeze in a few carvings now and then.
The kids need fundraisers for some of their events. Curtis asked me to carve this panther for his SkillsUSA team. It is being raffled off. I can provide a QR code soon.
