Some sunsets make you stop and look a little longer.
I loved building this one layer by layer — warm pinks and oranges across the sky, soft clouds catching the last light, and tiny birds making their way across it all. 🕊️

Somewhere between the deep blue sky and the last bit of light, a tiny fire keeps glowing. 🔥💙
I wanted this little painting to feel like one of those nights where everything around you goes quiet—the trees become silhouettes, the sky feels endless, and that one warm glow becomes the heart of the whole scene.

There’s a depth to the night that daylight can’t quite hold. SWIPE to see my night paintings 🥰
The farther you look, the more it seems to unfold — layers of trees disappearing into darkness, a distant glow, stars beyond reach, and a tiny campfire holding its own against the vast sky. 🔥🌲
Maybe that’s what keeps drawing me back to painting the night — the feeling that there’s always something more beyond what we can see.

I’ve been painting a lot of grey skies lately. Maybe it’s the weather, or maybe I just love how much feeling they carry.
For this little piece, I wanted that quiet moment just before the rain—the air feels still, the birds are heading home, and even under a cloudy sky, there are tiny touches of light. 🌫️🌿
Not every sky needs to be bright to be beautiful. 🤍
