Escape Room Tip of the Week: Direction matters. 👀

Directional locks are a classic escape room challenge for a reason, and one of our favorites!!
Sometimes the answer to a puzzle isn’t a number or a word, it’s a pattern, a sequence, or simply noticing the little things.

In escape rooms, details matter. A symbol facing left, an object turned upside down, or a clue hidden in plain sight can all lead you one step closer to solving the puzzle.

You didn’t just sign up for our newsletter … you showed up in full force. Our entire beta schedule filled faster than we ever imagined, and it means the world to us.
For the past three years, you’ve followed along as Escape Gallery went from an idea to sawdust, wiring, paint, and puzzle pieces, and now, you are stepping inside and bringing it to life!!!
Because of you, we have refined the details and made the experience stronger with every group that enters the hall. Your feedback, your patience, your excitement — it’s shaping Odin’s Feast Hall into something truly special. We are enjoying every minute of it right along side you!

To our incredible friends and family who participated in Alpha testing , thank you.
You answered the call, entered Odin’s hall, and faced the chaos of Loki head-on… and along the way, you helped us make Odin’s Dilemma so much better.
Your feedback was priceless, every laugh, every breakthrough, every “AHA!” moment helped us fine-tune the experience into something truly worthy of Valhalla.
And yes… we must speak of the skin puzzle.�You wrestled it. Questioned it. Possibly cursed it.�And thanks to you, it has emerged stronger, clearer, and far less… mischievous.
Because of you, this room is no longer just something we built, it’s something we’ve forged together. We are beyond grateful to have such amazing support behind us as we prepare to open our doors on April 1st.

We’ve been busy crafting some iconic Mario fire flowers, mushrooms, and stars to bring our 80s arcade escape room to life.

We completed the last of our puzzle boards yesterday! A Raspberry Pi is a tiny full PC that communicates with every prop, box and light in the room.
A tiny slab of sorcery, bristling with plugs and wires, forged not in Asgard’s fires but in the dark halls of the tech realm.
Vikings may sing of longships and axes, but we know the true weapon of the gods is a Raspberry Pi.

💨✨ Steam… but make it sneaky! ✨💨
Sometimes the magic of an escape room comes from the smallest tricks! We have been looking for a way to make safe, realistic steam effects and this week's mad science experiment was plugging a tiny terrarium humidifier into 24 volts and testing it in a tupperware. What a great way to use plain water to make bubbly potions and dragon's breath!

We have designed each room to have a themed clue system woven right into the story. Whether it’s an ancient relic whispering guidance in a Viking hall or a sassy retro arcade character giving hints, We want the clues to feel like they belong in the world around you. They’re fun, interactive, and sometimes even a puzzle in themselves! 🗝️
