Art on You opened its first brick and mortar location on Historic Magna Main in Magna, Utah as "Art on You Studios" on October 17, 2009. For just over a decade AoYS was home to some incredibly talented Tattoo Artists (7, including Storm, of which saw it to its final days in Magna) and became a staple in the Magna Community hosting remarkable events including an annual philanthropy event called the "Inkathon" and the highly anticipated "Halloween in Summer Festival". Witches and Co-Owners, Renee M. Anderson and A.W. Storm Anderson became local leaders and even held the positions of President of the Town Council and President of the Chamber of Commerce respectively. Since their first visit to Salem, Mass in 2013 for their 10th Wedding Anniversary and Halloween vacation/celebration, they came home inspired to move to the East Coast noting they resonated with so much there. That evolved into a dream of living in a Victorian house that would become the ultimate "Halloween House" and operating the business described above. The universe told them, after a massive earthquake with epicenter in Magna, the Covid-19 pandemic, and a racoon trapped (and perishing) inside the local water supply, to "Go Now!". So, on Aug 3, 2020, the Andersons became official residents of The Witchcraft District and are now living out their dream you're reading about. Long live AoY and its continued, positive evolution!
