Today marks three years since the Genocide began. This photograph was taken in the Muslim Quarter of Old Jerusalem, when I visited there in 1991.

To make sense on this day—which it never will—I’ve been identifying some ancient practices and traditions from my eastern European Jewish heritage to step out of ignorance and use this time to reflect and ground as an active prayer.

I’ve interpreted these practices as they connect to my own, so take what resonates…

Bitul /Shadowwork⁠: Quietly stepping back my own ego, making real room for other people’s pain and stories knowing that through that, I’m also healing my ancestral trauma.

Practice: Listening for where I have dropped into an energy I have to survive through. Noticing where my programming to feel guilt and shame centers my ego. Learning how to process that in coherence with my life.⁠

When we work through some of this in while setting our intentions on community, we learn about ourselves and also about how to be in community, not just what each of us looks like from the feeds, the povs and the stories.... I struggled forever to launch these words and pictures for who I am and what I do. ⁠

Recovering creative here. ⁠I don't believe the old forms of marketing (or "coaching") are anymore welcome then they are effective. The marketing fatigue is real! we are all "le" tired... ⁠
⁠
I think we can find new ways to branding in that matches our creativity and redesign what it means to do biznezz. ⁠
⁠
In my experience, to unleash creativity (applied to whatever is important to you) always means releasing something outmoded... that's some of the work.⁠

I call my coaching practice, Core Energy Guidance, because I'm challenging my programs in my own way.⁠

I'm a lifelong creative, I made furniture, and metalwork, positioning, and branding, and a lot of HUGE mistakes... Art has been my whole life and is what I can't stop doing... each of us has creative wisdom within us, we've just been cut off from it.⁠

I've been broken and healed again, and have a few more of my lives left. (3x) a trained personal development coach, got a lot of bumps and bruises searching for amaze...⁠
