Surface Anchors, Single-point Piercings, "Dermals"

Well placed anchors can last years, but it's important to know that if you're adventurous enough to have them inserted, chances are, at some point, you will need to have them removed.
⚓️
Slow rejection and migration of the jewelry up to the skin's surface is a common ending for these types of piercings.
One particularly forceful snag can pull a portion of the jewelry out of the skin, leaving the rest of the jewelry hanging on by a thread 🫣
In these circumstances where the piercing isn't able to be salvaged, it may be necessary to have a piercing professional remove your jewelry.

When it's time to have your anchor removed:
*Choose a piercer who has extensive experience removing them.
*You should not be charged exorbitant amounts of money to have them removed.
*In no way does typical removal require any type of "surgical" procedure.
*The whole process should be a fairly quick event -- taking them out should be about as fast as putting them in was.

I'm grateful every year to receive this certificate. It serves as an annual reminder of the risk and sacrifice it took to get where I am, and of how much work I have yet to put in. I am lucky to be surrounded by networks of kind, competent and supportive individuals who help me become a better, more whole person everyday. What started as small a personal goal ended up feeling like a test of bravery and resolve, the certificate a symbol of victory I display proudly outside my piercing room.

We are a tiny, young studio, and we have had to reschedule appointments at the last minute, but we feel that today's closure is necessary.

We understand that not everyone is in a position that will allow them to participate, but we are, and so we will. This closure is not easy or convenient, but it is in obvious alignment with our values as individuals, as a family, and as a business. Don't ever stop fighting for what is right and just. Don't ever let anyone tell you your voice or presence doesn't matter.

Did you know not all titanium is the same? It's okay if you didn't. Any decent piercing is going to be an investment, and we want only the best for our customers. When it comes to titanium we use high-polish, certified implant-grade metal only. You don't have to take our word for it either, we've got the certificates to prove it 🖤🤍🖤🤍
