For 175 years, Germania of Poughkeepsie has been dedicated to the preservation of, and the education of the public about German and German American Heritage and Culture. Germania is a membership organization with a full calendar of events that promote the German culture. We have German language classes and beginner ballroom dancing classes. e Soccer Club at our field. Join our German chorus or learn Schuhplattler dancing... adults and children are welcome. We are the home to Germania Singing Society and Germania Almrausch Schuhplattler Verein. Save the September weekend after Labor Day for our annual three-day Oktoberfest and the weekend after Mother's Day for our annual Maifest. Having a party? Rent our clubhouse or Pavilion. No cash on you? ATM on site and we accept credit cards. We are home to Dr. Charles Gilbert Spross Unit #167 Steuben Society of America. We are a volunteer organization; Germania is a great place to meet new friends, celebrate your heritage, and keep busy.

Join us for delicious German food at Germania tonight! We're serving up a comforting Rahmgulasch over spätzle with baby carrots, as well as a hearty Bratwurst Dinner with sauerkraut and German potato salad. To top it off, every meal comes with a slice of homemade linzertorte---it's delicious!

Whether you're a longtime fan of German spätzle or haven't had the chance to try it yet, we would love for you to join us for a homemade treat at Germania's Friday Night Dinner event tonight, May 29th from 5pm to 7pm! We are so excited to offer a comforting Rahmgulasch (creamy German Goulash) with fresh spätzle, followed by some wonderful linzertorte and coffee.

Our German Language Class, along with their teachers, Helga Nowak-Razey and Karen Castioni, are having such a wonderful time preparing for tonight's Friday Night Dinner! They are busy whipping up delicious Rahmgulasch (creamy German goulash), spätzle (German egg noodles), linzertorte, and so much more.

We would love for you to join us at Germania tonight to enjoy these homemade treats. Dinner is served from 5pm to 7pm, and you can choose to find in with us or grab take-out. We can't wait to see you there!

Are you craving some authentic German food? We’d love for you to join us this Friday, May 29th 5pm to 7pm, for a wonderful celebration of German culture! Enjoy a delicious Rahmgulasch dinner or Bratwurst dinner served with spätzle and fresh vegetables. It’s a great chance to enjoy traditional flavors, experience our favorite traditions, and make some wonderful new friends. We can’t wait to see you there!

The wait is over! MAIFEST is here, kicking off today from 5pm to 10pm, and it's all thanks to the tireless efforts of Germania's volunteers and the festival committee, who are bringing people together for a weekend of fun and celebration, so let's give them a big thank you - you're making a real difference!
