Some dancers come into your life and leave a mark on your heart and your studio forever. 💜
Today, we are celebrating one of our very own, Belen, as she begins an exciting new chapter at the University at Buffalo, continuing her pursuit of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. 🎓
It’s hard to put into words what this moment means. I have had the privilege of watching her grow up since she first walked through our doors as a 4-year-old little girl. Over the years, I’ve watched her grow not only as a dancer, but into the incredible young woman she is today.
From student, to teammate, to teacher, choreographer, mentor, and so much more… her hard work, dedication, talent, and commitment to our studio have left a mark that will always be part of who we are.
There is something incredibly special about watching someone you have known for so long grow up, find their path, and become ready to chase the dreams they’ve worked so hard for. While a part of me will always picture that little 4-year-old standing in the studio, I couldn’t be more proud of the woman standing in front of us today. 🤍
She is loved beyond words by our dancers, our families, and our faculty. And while we are beyond excited to watch her take this next step, there is no doubt that we are going to miss having her here every day.
Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye. She’ll be home on breaks, continuing to create and choreograph for our team, and will always have a place here with us.
Buffalo is gaining an incredible human, but Apricity NY will always be home. ✨
We are so proud of you, and I cannot wait to watch all that is ahead. Go chase those dreams — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉🎉 With so much love and admiration, Kerry
Let’s send her good luck and love in the comments🫶
