Summer is off to a great start in Poughkeepsie! First Fridays are back and even the rainstorm didn't keep us from having some great music and fireworks on the 4th.

Check out more events coming up in the next weeks. From dance and rowing to festivals, PorchFest and open studios tours, Poughkeepsie will be buzzing.

And don't forget to mark your calendars for Kaal Rock Park Concerts. We have a great lineup coming this year! With support from The City of Poughkeepsie and Central Hudson, we have the legendary BaseCamp R&B and the always electrifying jazz of Desmond Teague & Friends. For the final concert, Kaal Rock will host the NY State of Ska Tour with 4 great bands from around the state. Don't miss it!

David and Shajai take a well-deserved moment. They ran audio for Poughkeepsie First Friday last night and are ready to go for tonight at Waryas Park. First ones in and last ones packed up, they keep the music going. Come on down to Waryas for music with SoulSense and some fireworks!
