Brushtroke used to be the Carousel’s unofficial art critic. Back when the animals were getting painted, he would inspect every brushstroke like a museum curator. If the blue was too blue, he would stare. If the line was crooked, he would stare harder. Nobody told him he was in charge. He just took the job.

Now he’s retired from quality control, but the habit remains. He loves a bold color choice, a shiny highlight, and a rider who appreciates good craftsmanship. If you catch him from the side, you can almost hear him saying, “Nice. Very nice.”

We recently saw that The SunnyBrook Ballroom is celebrating a major anniversary this year, and it reminded us of this beautiful panel on the Carousel dedicated to the historic SunnyBrook Pool — generously donated by Teri Nytz.

One of the things we love most about the Carousel at Pottstown is how it helps preserve pieces of local history and memories that generations of families still cherish today.

🚧 Something NEW is on the horizon at the Carousel at Pottstown… 👀

This doorway may not look like much right now, but in the next few weeks it will begin transforming into a brand new main entrance experience for our guests! 🎠✨

Thanks to incredible community support and a recent grant award, we’re excited to start creating a more welcoming and accessible entryway for everyone who visits the Carousel.

Big changes are coming… and we can’t wait to share the progress with you! ❤️🎠
