Judy was a woman of faith. A teacher, a sister, a daughter, an aunt. She impacted the lives of many students during the course of her teaching career. I have a deep respect for those who teach, they make a choice to show up everyday and leave a positive, lasting impact on the lives of their students. Our Barry has been away from home for almost ten days. He is a sweet boy and I am concerned that he may have been visiting someone else in the neighborhood who leaves food out, and that this person may have mistakenly taken him in. He has a loving home and we want to see him get back to where he belongs.

Sharing late (as evidenced by the leaves). 💛 This was the first memorial piece I did after my cardiac event earlier this year. I didn't take the time to share it then, but as I scrolled through my camera roll this evening it stood out to me. This was a moment that helped me take a step towards accepting that life was in fact, going on...and that in time I had to find my way back to gratitude and somehow leave fear behind.

I struggled immensely with my mental health during the weeks and even months after everything happened, and there are simply no words to convey how much the outpouring of love we received from family, friends, clients and community meant to me. I promised myself I would focus on ways I could give back and recenter my life around being more present at home.🏡

It's been strange navigating what my capacity to continue being a Flower Boss Mom might look like. While I am working at a pace that I think is good for us, I'm not exactly sure what the future holds. I can say with certainty that it was a wild first half of 2026. We had our beautiful blessing of a baby girl, I was voted Montco's best florist for the THIRD year in a row, the twins had an awesome first year playing AAU basketball, and Gideon is growing into a talented artist. In so many ways, slowing down has been a gift.

For now, we're here... and I still get to share in your love of flowers. 🫶🏻💐💖
