Seaman weathers the early storm, dominates Yapp for decisive win at Super Billiards Expo 32

Story By Tournament Staff

MICHIGAN— In a much-anticipated matchup at the Super Billiards Expo, Jeremy Seaman delivered a near-flawless performance, defeating world-class opponent Aloysius Yapp with a commanding final score of 9-5. The showdown, a race-to-nine 9-ball battle, lived up to its billing, showcasing elite skill, but ultimately belonging entirely to Seaman.

The air in the arena was thick with tension as the two competitors took their places. Yapp, known globally for his lethal break and methodical safety play, began the match with characteristic precision. However, Seaman appeared unfazed, answering Yapp's early challenges with a cool composure.

The critical turning point came after Yapp opened with a brief flurry, looking to impose his will. Seaman, displaying immaculate cue ball control, capitalized on a missed opportunity and began to construct a relentless offense. What followed was a clinic in modern 9-ball: monstrous breaks that left clear layouts, precise caroms, and deep-calculated safeties that frustrated Yapp at every turn.

Spectators watched in awe as Seaman, pictured here with a focused gaze and absolute determination, navigated several complex racks with an ease that belied the difficulty. His focus was visible, particularly in the later racks when he took down multiple difficult long-range pots to critical pockets.

Yapp, fighting until the end, attempted a late-match surge but could not find the rhythm to overcome Seaman's building momentum.
The official event photo (above) captures the pivotal moment, showing Seaman at the table, just an object ball away from securing his overwhelming 9-5 victory, as the large digital scoreboard over Table 4 confirmed his dominance.

The arena crowd, sensing the imminent conclusion, was hushed in appreciation of the masterful performance.
When the final 9-ball dropped, the scoreboard told the complete story. A gracious handshake between the two champions ended the match, but the day belonged to Jeremy Seaman, who proved with authority that he belongs at the pinnacle of the game.

With this significant victory over a high-caliber opponent, Seaman advances in the tournament with massive momentum, sending a clear message to the rest of the field.

I can run 2 racks in 20 min.
Is that good?
