Reopening the studio on Tuesday! Can’t wait! Opened the kiln the other day and it was so rewarding! More pictures to come.

Still looking to fill the 2 night Berry Bowls Class that starts on Thursday!

Need a refresher?? Have you taken a pottery class before ?? Easy way to get back onto the wheel with this low commitment class. Join Jan DeWaters for a 2-session “BERRY BOWL” Class on Thursday, September 3rd and Thursday, September 10th from 6-8:30. Make two unique colanders for fruits and berries, and hone your throwing skills in a supportive and fun environment. This multi-level class is suitable for a range of skills, but does require some prior wheel experience (ability to center clay is a prerequisite). You will work on bowl skills (throwing and trimming) as well as embellishing with holes and attachments. The nonrefundable $110 class fee is due by August 27th to secure your seat in the class. •Closed one more week! We are taking a break so the studio is closed until AUGUST 31. Details about ‘Open Studio’ and ‘Instructional Open Studio’ in previous posts or on a featured/ pinned posts. September hours, including senior time on Monday mornings, will be the same as in the past. We will be continuing to advertise September and October classes during the next two weeks.

•Want to get your hands muddy and give the wheel a spin? Katie Fowler is offering a “Dirty Date Night” one and done pottery class on Saturday evening, September 5th. Looking for 1 more couple or bffs. $100 per couple.

•Has it been awhile? Want to get back into the studio? Join our Sept. two night BERRY BOWL CLASS (Sept. 3rd and Sept. 10th) for $110. Some prior wheel throwing experience required (ability to center clay). Plenty of seats left!

•Also for experienced potters, there is an upcoming Teapot Making Class in the month of October. See previous posts for more details.

Other figurines available to paint as well. No experience needed. Prices range from $10-$40 and include all costs (piece, glazing, studio time, and firing fees).

•No experience and no time for a weekly class? That’s ok! Come in to an ‘Instructional Open Studio’ (Tuesday/ Thursdays 1-4:30, Fridays 6-9, or Mondays 5-8) and for $20/ hr we will walk you through the basics of wheel throwing or hand building. Clay and firing costs are additional.

Looking for 3 more couples or BFFs to join this Dirty Date Night event on Saturday, Sept. 5th. Katie Fowler will bring the snacks, fun, and instruction. $100 per couple payable before Sept. 1st. No experience required. This is a pottery experience without the expectation of ‘saving’ any pieces. If someone wants to save a piece, they are welcome to come back during ‘Instructional Open Studio’ (offered 4 times during the week) and pay regular rates to follow up/ finish their pieces. This will just be a fun, hands on introduction to the process of wheel throwing. Great way to cross something off your bucket list or see if pottery is for you! BYOB optional. Ages 21+.
