July was a busy month with family so I didn't have a lot of time to quilt. I did manage to get a quilt completed in honor of our country's 250th birthday. I also made a special rag quilt from some of my dad's plaid shirts and blue jeans.

I made my first T-shirt quilt for my nephew.
I also made a king size quilt for my son and for my daughter. The king size quilts were quite the task to quilt on my little sewing machine.

May was a busy month with my real job so I didn't get to do a lot of quilting. I did a baby quilt for a friend and cherries and leopard are the nursery colors. I used the remaining fabric to make a full size quilt for my stash.

March Creation

This month I had the privilege of quilting some finished tops for friends and family. The most special was the pink and red quilt. This quilt top was hand stitch by my Great Aunt Velma. Her daughter Karen donated some fabric to me and the quilt top was in the fabric. She had no idea it was in there. It was such a blessing to be a part of something so amazing. I was also able to quilt the purple quilt for Karen and quilt the blue and gray quilt for my friend Ashley. The other quilts were my own creations.
