Get ready P‑Town, this next block is all about animation, or should I say IMAGINATION! Come see what these talented local filmmakers have in store for you. Open House, An Anthology of Animation, Starburst, and The Magic Pen will run consecutively starting at 6:30pm Thursday and Saturday, Sept 10th and 12th....and did someone call the doctor, DrTNeil that is? Be sure to catch the feature presentation of "DrTNeil vs Himself" as he takes to the big screen Saturday, Sept 12th, at 4pm!

P-Town Film Fest kicks off Thursday Sept 10th at 12:30pm and runs through the evening of Sunday Sept 13th. The festival is full of local talent! Come on out and show your support!

Also catch Laura's other works "The Final Year: Making Peace with the Pieces" (inspired by a true story) showing 9/10 and 9/12 at 2:30pm and Starburst (an animated short) showing 9/10 and 9/12 at 6:30pm. Portsmouth 8 Cinemas Regional Manager Brandy Malone saw the reaction to independent films and Vincent Herman, founder of Subject to Change, the company that produced “Rat Songs,” said that she began planning the first ever P-Town Film Festival. The event will run Sept. 10-13, 2026.

During Sensory Friendly showtimes:
- Customers may move, talk, sing or otherwise express themselves as needed
- Increased lighting in auditorium during film
- Reduced sound volume to avoid overstimulation
- No trailers to minimize unexpected content
- "Safe foods" for sensory guests allowed during Sensory Friendly Screenings Only (outside drinks not allowed)
- Blankets, fidget toys, and similar needed items allowed in auditorium
- All ages welcome
