Directed by Eva Gray, Alan Ball's sharp comedy serves up plenty of laughs as five bridesmaids spill the tea, share some laughs and discover they have more in common than they thought. This play is intended for mature audiences due to strong language and suggestive themes.

✨️Cast Spotlight- Five Women Wearing the Same Dress✨️

Katie Cochran (Meredith) is thrilled to return to the Portsmouth Little Theatre stage in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. She was previously seen at PLT in And Then There Were None, where she made her stage debut as Judge Wargrave. Katie has loved the challenge of bringing Meredith’s sharp humor, guarded heart, and complicated honesty to life. She is deeply grateful to her amazing director for her support, guidance, and trust throughout this process. Most of all, Katie thanks her husband and boys for cheering her on, and her castmates and crew, who have become lifelong friends.

✨️Cast Spotlight✨️- Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

Julie Buckler (Georgeanne) is a performer, writer, and arts advocate from Portsmouth with experience in both community and professional theater. A classically trained soprano, she has performed with the Southern Ohio Light Opera Company, Portsmouth Little Theatre, Shawnee State University Choir, and The Venice Chorale. Her notable stage credits at Venice Theatre include Beauty and the Beast (Madame De La Grande Bouche), Guys and Dolls, Lend Me a Tenor, The Jungle Book, Gulf View Drive, and Wiley and the Hairy Man. Julie was most recently seen in the role of Suzy Hendrix in Wait Until Dark here at PLT. She has been active with PLT for over 10 years and has served as a member of the Board of Governors. Julie is passionate about storytelling that connects deeply with audiences and celebrates the transformative power of the arts. Thank you Eva for the opportunity to perform once again at PLT.

✨️Cast Spotlight✨️- Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

Pamela Klinepeter (Frances) – Pam is thrilled to be part of this female ensemble production with such wildly talented castmates. You may remember Pam as Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Vera in And Then There Were None, and most recently as Frankie, the heavily pregnant and youngest Futrelle sister in Christmas Belles. Off-stage, she is the Director of Library Services at Ashland Community and Technical College. She lives in Ashland with her husband, Mark, and their children, Alex, Simon, and Charlotte. Pam would like to thank her family for supporting her theatrical ambitions and her director, Eva, for trusting her with this role.

Cast Spotlight- Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

Rachel Vetter (Mindy) is thrilled to be returning to the stage with Portsmouth Little Theatre for this production. A lifelong lover of theater, Rachel grew up performing in plays and musicals throughout high school before rediscovering her passion for the stage as an adult. Audiences may recognize her from previous productions including The Dixie Swim Club, The Witches, and Almost, Maine.

When she is not performing, Rachel works as an intervention specialist and is deeply passionate about teaching, learning, and helping students grow both academically and personally. She is also excited to return to graduate school for a second go-round this fall. Rachel loves history, architecture, music, literature, the arts, foraging, cooking, and traveling whenever she has the opportunity. She enjoys sharing her love of theater with her daughter, Ava, and spending time with her six-month-old Irish wolfhound, Sir Francis Ferdinand Finnegan.

Rachel would like to thank her daughter Ava for always encouraging her creative spirit and being the best karaoke partner ever, her parents, Daryle and Donna, for their constant love and support, and all of the incredible women in this cast and production for their friendship, talent, and support throughout the show.
