It is amazing how art and handmade things weave into people’s lives in such meaningful ways.
We always post the beautiful artwork that sell on a daily basis, but today, I want to post about the beautiful people and their beautiful stories they bring with them.
On Tuesday we had three completely different moments, all full of meaning.
First we had a woman, newly able to leave her home after an organ transplant, who came straight to the gallery to purchase her favorite soap, telling Peggy, “ this is the first time I am able to leave my house and this is the place I wanted to come to.”
Second we had a couple, celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary, come to us to choose a piece of artwork to commemorate their special day.
Lastly we had a woman, Katherine, visiting from Scotland, who was captivated by the 200 year old history of the broomstick lace scarf so much, she purchased two of them, so she and her sister could each wear a piece of that history in Scotland.
We are so grateful for the people who walk through our doors and we are touched by the stories they leave with us. ❤️
