Follow Court Street out toward the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) side gate, and after WAVY TV 10, look for their yellow food trailer by the Portsmouth Judicial Center!

First Weekend is here, and that means TRIPLE MARKET Saturday and adult beverage outdoor Sip & Stroll is in effect! It will be a FANTASTIC day to wander our historic brick sidewalks and explore all that's going on. We'll have THREE markets ( Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market + First Saturday Art Market + Olde Towne Antique & Flea Market ), cool cars at Classic Cars & Coffee at the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market, art-making for families at the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center, Yoga at the Market, fairy hair for all ages, three live musical acts in three locations, and of course our small shops & restaurants will be open to greet you!

Many of you will remember Moose the Dog, the shelter dog from the Portsmouth Humane Society who in 2023 saved a family from a houseboat fire during an overnight foster visit. (https://www.13newsnow.com/article/life/pets/portsmouth-humane-society-foster-dog-hero-moose-house-boat-fire-rescue/291-9707ce44-0f76-414a-af28-d91d29a00a41).
Moose went on to play Max (the Grinch's dog with one antler on his head) during the Holiday Tree Lighting events.
Moose was adopted by a loving family and lived a happy life!
He passed away overnight, surrounded by his family. He was a good boy, and a part of Portsmouth history!
