The Limelighters are in the process of updating their website - including this gem...A history of the past performances of the club. Check it out! While you're there, feel free to tour the other offerings of our fine arts department website.

This page will continue to be updated in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back as we build this visual history of the limelighters. Alums/friends, if you have high quality images from past productions, feel free to send them along to Mr. B at: dillon.bates@mainegirlsacademy

The Limelighters are thrilled to announce that MGA has been selected to host the Maine Drama Festival 2018 Regional One-Act Competition! Please join us March 9th and 10th for a wild 48 hours of great High School theatre! We look forward to welcoming all of the visiting schools from around the state, and can't wait to get started!

After a leading off the 2017 One-Act Festival with a remarkably clean, polished, memorable and moving performance, the Limelighters came up just short, taking 3rd place at the regional competition. A great team effort and a memorable show, nonetheless. Great individual feats were recognized, however, as both Catherine Cornell (her second in as many years!) and Marie-Monique Kabongo were named to the All-Festival Cast!

Congrats to Catherine and Marie, and the entire cast and crew of The Murder of Lidice!

The girls are already busy gearing up for their next project, but please take a moment to look back at the success of the fall!

Feel free to tag/post/share photos if you'd like.

Three of our fabulous performers were selected to the All-Festival Cast by the judges at this year's One-Act Regional.

From left, they are Senior Danielle Guibord, for her performance as The Swallow, Senior Mai Mangin for her performance as The Happy Prince, and Sophomore Catherine Cornell for her performance as The Little Matchgirl.

On a side note, this is the third year in a row that Danielle has been named to the All-Festival Cast - an incredibly rare feat. Congratulations to these three, and to the entire cast of "The Happy Prince"!
