I did a thing! Last week I painted the bathroom at ♡♡♡
We've talked about it for a while but the timing was finally right, and it felt perfect to freshen things up now that ownership is back in the hands of (the original owner of Shanti Om).

I loved doing it and it reminded me of so many lessons I've learned while painting walls: 1)patience! 2)enjoy the whole process: don't think of some parts as parts to "get over with" and others as "the fun part" 3)trust your vision and your eye 4)let it take as long as it takes. Time is made up just do the thing

Now part of my yoga practice will be letting go of my perfectionist urge to keep editing this wall for the rest of time 🤣😂

On February 11 we had to put our girl Zola down. I haven't posted yet because it wasn't time yet. She was the first dog I ever had and I couldn't have been luckier to know her. She was the sweetest, silliest girl and it was nearly impossible to pick 20 pictures of her life. She loved hard and was loved by everyone who met her. She loved digging in sand, she loved running in the snow, she loved gatekeeping the cats 🤣, and she LOVED snuggling. She marks a whole era of my life and of my relationship with and of our time with Bella and Roscoe (and a little time with Murphy😻).
I don't really have the right poetic words to say, all I can say is I'm incredibly grateful to have had sweet Zoli bear in my life. It was so much richer because of her. I'm glad Jared and Kira and I were all with her in her final moments. I love her and miss her so so so much. Thank you Zola, RIP 🙏❤️😭

Just realized I never posted this one from the fall. I feel it's just the start of a blending of my styles. Hopefully I can squeeze in more time for painting soon. Hope you're all staying sane out there. 😘

2025 was a weird one and a hard one, but it also had a lot of beautiful moments. I definitely learned and grew a lot so I'm grateful 🙏

tater tot (TT), hot dog, hot dog tater tot(🤣), the muppetty one with the 80s hairstyle, you sure are missed. This apartment just isn't the same without you in it. Thanks for being the silliest guy I ever knew. Im so glad Bryce led me to you, even if I only got a few years of your love💓
