Just a little sneak peek of some of the amazing work you’ll see at Small Talk Collective’s 5th annual Light Conversation slideshow projection exhibition event - held inside the Disjecta space of Oregon Contemporary on Saturday, April 26th from 6-9pm! This is a FREE one-night-only event with a bar, DJ and photobooth so bring your friends and come celebrate these photographers with us! The formal viewing will begin at 7pm and then loop until the end of the event.

We are so excited to announce the artists selected for Light Conversation: Vol.5! Please join us at on Saturday, April 26th from 6-9pm to help celebrate these photographers during this one-night exhibition and community event! Arrive at 6 to grab a beverage from the bar, take some photos in the photobooth and catch up with your art friends - the formal viewing on the slideshow projection will start right at 7! It will continue to loop until the end of the event while the DJ turns up the volume for social hour 🩷 will we see you there?!

Mark your calendars for Light Conversation Vol.5! We’ll be back at on Saturday, April 26 from 6-9pm for our popular pop-up projection exhibition and community event - and you are invited! It is free and open to the public 💚

This year we will be celebrating photographers from all over the world who are creating work that speaks to our collective resilience - we want to see your defiance, your vulnerability, your rage and your joy. We are excited to see how you persist, how you process, or how you find meaning amidst uncertainty (don’t forget, submissions are open through the 12th at midnight pst!). Plus, all profits from our sliding scale entry fees will be donated to the local nonprofit, Children’s Healing Art Project ()!

So, come grab a beverage from the bar, snap some photos with your friends in the photobooth and grab a seat in the gallery, the formal viewing will begin at 7 and then loop for the rest of the night during social hour. We can’t wait to see you there! 💚

Have ya heard?! We are currently accepting submissions for the fifth installation of Light Conversation, our pop-up projection series and community event - hosted by !

We are once again offering a sliding-scale entry fee ($10-$50) and the deadline to submit is April 12th. All profits from this year’s fees will be donated to the local art nonprofit !

This year we are looking for current work that explores how you are experiencing and processing our shared reality. What grounds you? What unsettles you? How are you making sense of this particular moment in time?
