How many bowls can a bunch of potters make in two hours (handbuilding + wheel throwing)? Leave your guess below πŸ₯ΈπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

All bowls will go towards fundraising for the Maine Harvest Bucks program

Shoutout to our MVP of the evening ‼️

Yesterday, all our wheels were full with potters! Another wonderful First Friday in the books.

06/05/2026

Clay Play is a free First Friday invitation to get muddy.

Come try the wheel, make a mess, meet some clay people, and see what pottery is all about.

We try to offer these most First Fridays, but we're also humans with a small business. Occasionally we run out of social batteries and skip a month. If you're planning your evening around us, just check in first.

We know. Summer in Maine is meant to be spent outside 🌞🌞

But hear us out: a few hours each week in the studio might be the perfect complement to all that sunshine, and a chance to channel the creativity that summer seems to spark so effortlessly.

Clay offers a different kind of summer rhythm. A few hours each week to slow down, make something with your hands, and follow your curiosity. It's there for the rainy days, the foggy days, and the afternoons when it's just. too. hot.

🌞🌞🌞

Classes meet one evening a week at 6 PM for eight weeks (July and August) with plenty of Open Studio access between classes to keep the momentum going. In addition to beginner clay classes, we're offering opportunities for more experienced clay folks to explore surfacing, thrown and altered methods, and conceptual approaches to clay.

➜ Registration is open now. Visit the link in our bio to learn more and sign up, and reach out with any questions.

Skye took a workshop here at last fall and discovered a new technique that resonated deeply and has been at the heart of their work ever since (thank you, .christensen.77)

One demonstration, one new idea, and suddenly your work begins to move in an entirely new direction.

No matter how long you’ve been working with clay, there is always something new to discover.

If you’re looking for that spark, our special topics summer session launches May 20 (that's Wednesday πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«)

We’re excited to share fresh techniques, new perspectives, and plenty of inspiration πŸ’•πŸ’•
