An IMPORTANT Note From The Curious Management Team:

Since our inception in 2008, Curious has been a prolific arts hub that specializes in cultivating joy and community in Portland and far beyond.

As we slowly and steadily roll toward year 20, we’ve started reflecting on how far we’ve come - while also cooking up some big dreams about where we can go in the future and what small steps we can take to get there.

This year we launched our new Long Form Ensemble and Long Form Conservatory programs. We’ve expanded our offerings in our Adult Training Center with new workshops, performance level classes, and a Sketch Comedy track. We piloted our Youth and Family Program with a robust offering of classes, summer camps, and an emerging teen performance ensemble. Plus, we’ve hosted world class performers on our stage including Atsuko Okatsuka and Colin Mochrie! Phew! All of this in just THE PAST SIX MONTHS!

We’ve done all of this with our small but mighty team of passionate administrators who believe in the power of improv and comedy to change lives for the better. Skel and Stacey have been joined on the team by Blake Wales - who started as our Youth Program Director and has now stepped into the role of Managing Director with aplomb. Yeah - I said APLOMB!

As we move into the peak of summer and prep for the launch of our 2026/2027 Season of programming we are calling upon YOU for your support.
Please join us in taking a moment to reflect on what Curious has meant for you, the times when you've joined a class, made a friend, and shared a joyful laugh with us!

Today, we are asking you to make a donation to Curious so we can continue to offer the top quality shows and classes in one of the best comedy venues in the world! Our goal is to raise $15,000 before the end of summer. Will you help us get there?
