I had some interesting comments when when my sister posted this lil video of our morning convo. Listen. I have no illusions about what’s going on globally and domestically. My heart aches. BUT! I will not let that have that power over me. I will not bow to the bu****it and marinate in the dispare. So many people ooze hate and sadness, judgment and absolute hypocrisy. I try and not live like like. I work hard on my brain and spirit to show up every day and release positive energy so I can be of sound mind this way I can help be the voice for others but especially for myself. It’s a crazy mixed up world and what a long strange trip it’s been. But this is a one lap race and I intend to win with a record Breaking time.

Last. But not least. F**k ice and anyone who is in favor. Open your eyes. Open your hearts. Try critical thinking. Do research, make decisions based on facts. Not your religion or what the news tells you. Do better.

I am pleased to announce I will be participating again in this years Portland Open Studios.
2 weekends October 11/12 & 18/19 10am-4pm
My studio will be open to the public.
We will be hosting the preview show .pdx this year! Artists participating in PDXOS will be showing thier work in a group exhibition Sat 9/27 from 6-8 wine.tasting.room will be pouring as usual for our events. This is going to be a really fun event. Put it on your calendars.

Oh Scout. The sweetest pup I’ve ever had. He’s an old man now. Going on 13 in October. His arthritis has slowed our quickly paced, long adventure walks. His lumps and bumps have grown. His hearing is slowing going. But Otherwise as fit as a fiddle and still wants to play. He gave me quite the scare yesterday with the sudden clapsing of his hind end and then walking like he was drunk. It lasted for a few hours. His vet is amazing and got him right away this morning. Idiopathic vestibular disease. It sounds way worse than it is. Pretty much old man syndrome. He will most likely have more episodes. It’s common and not treatable. But he’s okay and chillin in his favorite spot today. Keeping his mental health vibrant is imperative just like us humans. We will go to play in the river later this evening. I have a full plate with work at TJ’s ,the Ford Gallery and trying to produce my own work for upcoming shows,all while living life and trying to fill my cup with fun experiences. So if I don’t answer texts or calls. I’m just busy. I’ll get back to ya. Xo

What if This Was Your Last Sunset, 2025

This was a hard price for me to post. I recently lost two very important people in my life. When I painted this piece I was pondering my time here on this planet. How do I want to show up for myself and for others. If this was the last sunset I saw would I be at peace with the life I’ve lived and created for myself. There’s so much I still want to do. So many things I need to say.
“Make out sessions is a visual experience of emotional truth. Over the last 12 months, great shifts have promoted new experiences. This called for a wider range of reflection.
Focusing on expanding my work onto larger format helped to translate my contemplations with a more appropriate scale.
Peace comes from feeling things sharply; through paint is where it’s processed to its fullest capacity.
I paint to the remain in the present while simultaneously reflecting on the past, which becomes my inspiration for the future.”
