We'd love to see you tomorrow at Soñadores Spanglish Night at the New Hillsboro Hops Ballpark, as the Soñadores de Hillsboro (aka Hillsboro Hops) take on the Viñeros de Tri-City (aka Tri-City Vinegrowers).

Minor League Baseball's annual Hispanic fan-engagement initiative, "Copa de la Diversión," involves participating teams temporarily rebranding themselves with culturally relevant, Spanish-language names and logos. It's all about celebrating Latino culture and heritage, and you know we're ALL IN for that kind of celebration!

Milagro will be on hand to celebrate:

- Co-founders José González y Salazár and Dañel Malán-González will take the mound for the ceremonial first pitch

- The Frida Kahlo puppet from our current Teatro Milagro touring show "Autoretrato de Fridita" will be interviewed live (with support from Milagro staffer Khayry Gonzalez)

- Khayry will also sing a Spanglish version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch

- COME SEE US! We're hosting an information table on site where you can chat with us and learn more about all the opportunities to engage with Milagro.

Milagro is excited to announce the 2026-2027 cohort of grant recipients from the Milagro Artist Fund.

For our 2026-2027 Season43: Pasando el Testigo, a total of $16,000 has been awarded—the largest sum yet—with 15 individuals or groups each receiving project grants ranging from $500 to $2,000. Over the Milagro Artist Fund’s 5-year history, a total of $70,000 has now been granted to artists from Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Each 2026-2027 recipient will utilize their grant funds toward a project to occur between July 2026 and June 2027. Project details–including dates, times, and public availability–will be announced at a later date. During our just-completed Season42: Fuerza en Familia, projects supported by the Milagro Artist Fund included a wide range of events as part of Milagro’s Community Artes programming, including many salon-style experiences as part of the tertulia art+conversation series, as well as the March celebration of Women’s History Month, Mundo de las Mujeres, which included staged readings of two plays, a stand-up comedy show, and visual arts gallery.

🎬 Join us for an evening of independent film, storytelling, and conversation at Milagro.

This special film shorts screening features the work of three remarkable filmmakers and recipients of the Milagro Artist Fund, a program dedicated to supporting and uplifting Latine artists in our community.

✨ Hostile Work Environment — Directed by Dawn Jones Redstone
✨ MORA — Directed by Ricardo & Veronica Alvarado
✨ Dreamland — Directed by Tatiana Maria Corbitt

Through horror, drama, magical realism, and deeply personal storytelling, these films explore identity, labor, memory, dreams, and belonging while centering voices and perspectives too often left out of the frame.

Following the screening, audiences will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and learn more about their creative processes, inspirations, and work.
