The Art of Travel. A painting of a shepherd in New Mexico.
The carved and painted wood sculpture done in Sisters, Oregon on art retreat at a cattle ranch. The donkey painting was also done there in honor of "Juanita" who protects a flock of sheep.

Painting narrative scenes on canvas again!
For many years I have been painting on plywood backgrounds and attaching my carved figures to tell stories. Now the carved figures will be standing unattached in front of the paintings. In this way the narratives will be open to more interpretations.

Solo show in Oakland, Ca at FM Oakland through October 26, 2019. Second Opening reception is October 4 , 6 - 9pm. Also the Gallery is open all Saturdays from 1-5pm.
Several sculptures sold on September’s Opening night and will be replaced with new work for October 4.
