Since its inception, the gallery was a welcoming place where the transformative power of art was felt by all who crossed its threshold. Welcome to Richard Boyd Art Gallery an owner operated fine arts gallery located on Peaks Island in Portland, ME. The gallery represents a diverse group of established and emerging artists, with a connection to the state of Maine, creating visual art in a range of styles from traditional realism to contemporary abstracts, in both two and three-dimensional mediums. Richard Boyd Art Gallery exhibits original paintings from a variety of genres including landscapes and still life, limited edition bronze sculptures, and a select offering of works in clay. Exhibitions change monthly and include solo, group, and theme exhibits so clients and visitors always discover something new and exciting when they visit the gallery. The gallery is open April through October between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm daily. During the months of November through March the gallery is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
