The 2026 TAG! Q***r Shorts Festival is almost here! This weekend, the Portland, Oregon-based international festival comes to the Clinton Street Theater to showcase short film, featuring work made exclusively by q***r and trans directors.

Milagro is once again honored to support this important organization by sponsoring The Milagro Award for ​Hispane/Latine Creativity, which will go to the best short film by an individual with ethnic ties to the Iberian Peninsula or any part of Latin America, regardless of the language of the production, country of residence of the filmmaker, or setting of the film. This emphatically includes people of indigenous ancestry regardless of of whether they typically choose "Latine" as a label.

"Get Up!" -- Tag! Q***r Shorts Festival 2026 -- is both a celebration of the filmmakers who bring q***r life to the big screen every day and an invitation to q***r viewers to take that energy to the streets—to be aggressively visible and take space even where we're not wanted.

Timbers Pride Nights are highly anticipated events each year and when the Portland Timbers heard that there was a local connection to the soccer-themed film Mean Goals from Ahuatl Amaro, they arranged a little surprise for their crew for our final screening, Tagging Cascadia - Tag!
