The Portland Ballet Junior Intensive is a week-long program for students ages 8-11 who want to continue their training over summer. The intensive runs Monday through Friday from 9:30am-12:30pm, and the daily schedule consists of a ballet technique class, stretch & strengthening, time for crafts, and choreography. (Dancers must by 8 by the first day of camp)

𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗼 🐴🤠
June 22-26
Inspired by Aaron Copland’s 'Rodeo', this high-energy summer camp brings the spirit of the Wild West to life through ballet, music, and movement. Each day will consist of a ballet technique class, stretch & strengthening, time for crafts, and choreography.

𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶 🌞🐟
July 6-10
Set on the sunny Italian seaside, ‘Napoli’ is a joyful adventure where dancers will explore the classical ballet inspired by August Bournonville’s beloved masterpiece.
Each day will consist of a ballet technique class, stretch & strengthening, time for crafts, and choreography.

Join us for a pop-up Pre-Ballet class next Tuesday, June 16 from 3:15pm-4:00pm! For dancers ages 5-7, Pre-Ballet focuses on building the foundation of proper posture and coordination, musicality and movement, and age-appropriate stretching and strengthening.

PSB's Young Dancer Camps are exciting, week-long camps where students ages 5-7 can let their imaginations soar. Each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:30am and includes a daily ballet class, story, snack break, craft time and creative movement. (Dancers must by 5 by the first day of camp.)

𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 🚀🌙
June 22-26
Young dancers will blast off into space! They’ll explore the moon and planets, make their own space costumes and sets, and dance, twirl, and leap to music that’s out of this world.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 🍂🌳
July 20-24
Dancers will explore spring, summer, fall, and winter through dance, stories, and fun crafts! We’ll move to the music of Vivaldi’s 'The Four Seasons' and discover how colors, feelings, and rhythms change throughout the year.

Join us for our next Baby & Me class this Friday, June 5 from 10-10:30am! Parents and Caregivers have fun and engage with their children (ages 1-3) and each other through dance, rhythms and music. Designed to inspire movement through observation, dance and creative exploration, these classes focus on engaging children to find expression through movement.

Saying farewell to yet another fantastic year at Portland School of Ballet. Thank you to our students, families, faculty, and staff for making this year so special. We are proud of all that you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see you in the studio again soon!
