✨🫧Cleaning Vintage LLBean Totes🫧✨ for a good cause!

Come along as I scrub and clean some tote bags to prep them for a special passion project of mine 🥰

I am Painting 21 tote bags inspired by Noah Kahan’s music to raise money for The Busyhead Project! ✨

☝🏻FIRST STEP: Clean The BAGS! 🧼
My go-to is Baking Soda and Dawn Dish Soap 🫧
This combo has never failed me!
You can play around with the measurements to make it more concentrated, like a paste for tough stains
There are no exact measurements I use; I just usually go for a half-and-half mix and then add water💧

I am STILL LOOKING 👀 for some more L.L.BEAN TOTE BAGS that are pre-loved for this project!

You can bring your own tote bag to paint on - or - when you sign up choose an L.L.Bean tote bag option - we will have ready for you to paint that day! 🎨

ALL art levels are encouraged to sign up!🤍

There will be a demo at the beginning of the workshop showcasing the watercolor method that Avery from New Meadow Designs uses on her own painted tote bags 👩‍🎨

From beginner to artsy pro - there will be guidance as much as you want or need for the whole process! No stress just lots of FUN! 😀

✨Mini Art LOVE✨

This past weekend, I not only got to visit the mini print emporium pop-up in Portland, Maine, filled with Ana Inciardi’s incredible artworks, but I also celebrated getting my own art vending machine!

What better way to celebrate than to visit the artist who has inspired me to make mini artworks that are accessible to all!

I have been a huge fan of Inciardi’s work since the start and have been collecting for years

I have been making mini artworks since the beginning of starting my business - mostly because it was fun, but also, I just love having small artworks for people to collect, share, and enjoy.

Last month, I painted a bunch of mini original artworks and gave them away for free in my small homemade cardboard vending machine at the Maine Oyster Festival.

Then came along an amazing opportunity from Liz the visionary behind the Harpswell Collective. A new community-centered art gallery located in Harpswell, Maine

She had a vending machine - needed an artist to fill it - and offered that role to me! A dream come true! But it didn’t stop at the vending machine - I was also showing my art in their first gallery show!

Secretly, it has been a dream of mine since I was young to have my art in a gallery somewhere - the timing of this opportunity and the community that is around it felt so right, and I am beyond ecstatic!

SO here’s to all the artists out there that inspire other artists - and cheers to the art community here in Maine - welcoming and cheering each other on!

✨This weekend was a dream come true!✨
