It seems forever since I have posted here-the other business of Street Poet Sam has been occupying most of my time. Plus working several other gigs to keep the bills paid during the rainy, cold Oregon winter season.
This next year our usual setup at Portland Saturday Market will be only on Saturday as Market will not be open.
Am working on more streamlined processes and will even have some lovely greeting cards and postcards, suitable for framing, for sale this year.
As the next few months continue the march towards...well, March when PSM opens again, we hope to see you there for either henna or to have a hand-typed poem via your prompt.

Many may remember the Northern Spotted Owl found on Mt. Tabor last November, who tragically died from an unknown cause. Recent testing by the ODFW reveals the bird died due to secondary rodenticide poisoning, meaning the bird ate a rodent that had consumed rodent poison.

We don’t know where or when this bird was exposed to rodenticides, but the reality is that wide and unsafe use of these products puts wildlife at risk across the state. Residents, businesses, and government agencies can all do their part to reduce wildlife deaths by using alternative methods to manage rodent populations.

Henna belly for a beautiful mom-to-be! The roses are for the baby and the rabbit is an auspicious symbol as well...signifying a quick and easy delivery, the only animal not included in her numerous tattoos, just in time for Easter and it is the year of the Rabbit as well! Now waiting and hoping for a paste-removed pic from the baby shower!
