🍦🪣 SCOOP, STIR & IMAGINE! Welcome to P***Y’s New Mud Kitchen! 🌿👩🏽‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳

Our P***Y Playhouse preschoolers were SO excited to break in their brand-new MUD KITCHEN last week! 🤩

And what was on the menu? ICE CREAM! 🍨🍦 All kinds of imaginary flavors, whipped up with creativity, curiosity and a whole lot of JOY!

Through sensory-rich, play-based learning, our little chefs are strengthening fine motor skills, practicing cooperation, exploring textures and letting their imaginations run WILD! 🌈

And when Mr. Alvin gently encouraged everyone to transition to the next activity? Well… let’s just say the kitchen was still OPEN for business! 😂🤣

Because when children are THIS engaged in learning through play, who wants to stop?!

💜 At P***Y, PLAY is serious learning—and imagination is always on the menu!

🍦 YOUR TURN! What flavor of mud kitchen ice cream would YOU order? Drop your imaginary flavor below! 👇🏽😂

P***Y READING TIME! ✨📚

There’s a whole world waiting inside a book! 💜

At P***Y, our kids choose a favorite book, get comfy on the circle-time rug, and explore stories and characters through both words AND pictures. They’re learning to recognize characters, follow along with stories, make connections, and use their imaginations to bring it all to life! 🌈💭

Because reading doesn’t just build early literacy skills…it sparks creativity, curiosity and BIG imaginations! 📖✨

What was YOUR favorite book as a child? Tell us in the comments! 👇🏽

THAT TIME P***Y BROUGHT BLACK JOY TO WAV! 🖤✨

P***Y Academy brought some of our radiant Black Joy to a WAV/Sankofa Community event filled with friendship, creativity, affirmation and VISION! 💜🎨🌟

Teacher Aléa invited our P***Y Kids (and other participants) to speak affirmations OUT LOUD, because there is something powerful about children hearing themselves say positive, life-giving words about who they are and who they can become. 🗣️✨

Our young visionaries made mini vision boards and inspired art projects filled with their own ideas, dreams and imagination. Because at P***Y, creativity is more than something we do.

💜 We create.
💖 We imagine.
💜 We affirm.
✨ We DREAM.
🖤 And we make room for BLACK JOY!

And whew… did we have FUN! 🙌🏽😂🥰

What’s one affirmation you want the children in your life to KNOW and BELIEVE about themselves? Drop it in the comments! 👇🏽
