Announcing our Summer Song Studio classes! 🥳

Are you looking for a way to practice singing in front of a small group in a safe and welcoming environment? Song Studio is the perfect place to practice and learn how to share your song with an audience. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students, with tailored feedback from the facilitators.

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate Pride month with our 3rd annual PRIDE concert on Saturday June 20th. Will you be joining us?

We’ll meet at the Powell Park picnic shelter from 2p-5p. Stop by anytime and bring a little something to add to our potluck! Every year we fill the park with a vibrant celebration of q***r music and performers and this year is no exception. Join us!!

Our Song Studio class on Friday May 29th is officially SOLD OUT, but here are a few other ways you can join Resound currently:

🌟 Private Voice + Music Lessons: Our staff are deeply experienced and compassionate folks who can support your music goals no matter where you are in your journey. Private lessons currently offered: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and Harmonizing.

🌟SoulSinging: Our SoulSinging group meets once a week and performs every few months at our studio gatherings.

Check out this upcoming concert with our friends at Rose City Renaissance! Featuring Resound NW student Noah Oldham.

Friday, May 15, 2026: The Penitential Psalms
St. Mary’s Cathedral, Portland Oregon

Tickets: $20 online, $25 at the door

Rose City Renaissance explores the Penitential Psalms — ancient cries of anguish, repentance, and hope that speak as powerfully today as they did centuries ago. The program features beloved masterworks including Purcell's Hear My Prayer, O Lord and Josquin's Miserere mei Deus alongside unrecorded treasures by Leonhard Lechner, the most gifted student of Orlando di Lasso. Period winds and strings — sackbut, shawm, recorder, dulcian, and viola da gamba — join the ensemble's voices, bringing rich contrasts of texture and dialogue to the double-choir repertoire.

Join us for our next studio gathering, featuring our private students, and staff! Our Studio Gatherings are an opportunity for our students to perform for each other, to share what they are learning in their music lessons, and for friends and family to support their loved ones. Audiences will be invited to join in on the sing-a-long songs!

Good things to note:
WHEN: Sunday May 3rd from 2-5p

WHERE: Resound NW, 1532 SW Jefferson

WHO: Friends & family of our singers are most welcome, as is the general public. Our concerts are a great opportunity for prospective students to come and see what we do!
